The eyes of the nation are focused on Aurora, Colo., today as we learn of the horrific shooting overnight at a local movie theater. Staff with the LCMS’ disaster response ministry have contacted the LCMS Rocky Mountain District and the District Disaster Response Coordinators (DDRCs) serving that part of the country. The DDRCs are working with congregation leaders in the community to offer support and assistance as ministry needs are determined. Please join us in holding up in prayer all those who are injured, the families and friends of the victims, and all who are suffering as a result of this tragedy. Lord, have mercy.
