Amarillo students raise $1,200 for tornado victims; LCMS’ disaster response ministry
We give thanks to God for the compassion and dedication of the students at Trinity Lutheran Christian School in Amarillo, Texas, who marched around the Amarillo Zoo on March 9, and raised more than $1,200 for tornado victims. Their funds will enable our Synod’s disaster response ministry to support local congregational relief efforts for recent tornado victims.
By surpassing their goal of $650, Principal Rick Ryan dressed up as a tiger, the school’s mascot, and marched through the halls of Trinity Lutheran Monday donning orange and black stripes.
Congratulations to Trinity Lutheran Christian School!
