Lutherans join 39th ‘March for Life’ in D.C.
Despite cold and rain, more than 120 Lutherans marched among more than 250,000 pro-life advocates in the 39th annual “March for Life” in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 23.
Trying their best to avoid the mud, Lutherans from 12 states and Germany marched beneath the Lutherans For Life banner down the National Mall and Constitution Avenue, past the U.S. Capitol to the U.S. Supreme Court building in protest of the 1973 Supreme Court Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion.
